Flight Support maintains a substantial inventory of spare parts. Most of the parts are for Pratt & Whitney JT8D engine models. This inventory focuses heavily on the -15A, -17A and -200 series engines. It is valued at in excess of $2,000,000.

The inventory is primarily utilized to service repair part customer needs. Customers cannot wait the normal 30 to 45 days for completion of the repair process of their parts. Accordingly, they are issued an exchange set of parts which can be immediately installed into the engine. There is no charge for this service.

As parts progress through the repair process, some are determined to be non repairable. At a pre-agreed time, the customer is notified of the number of parts which can be repaired. He is then charged the known and accepted repair prices and replacement prices for the parts in question. Both repair and replacement prices charged are always agreed to ahead of time and are very competitive.
